Schengen visa
Since May 2nd, 2013 SCHENGEN visa for Germany are issued by the Italian Embassy in Asmara.
Appointments can only be arranged by phone with the Italian Embassy. Applications without prior appointment will not be accepted.

National visa
Applicants for a visa for a national stay in Germany (category D) can call on personally at the German Embassy in Asmara.
Opening hours of the counter are Monday, Wednesday to Friday from 09:00 to 12:00.

No visa and passport service (consular affairs) on Tuesdays.
